Cristhian's Practice

In addition to having a general practice focusing on trauma, attachment wounds, depression, anxiety, existential angst, life transitions, intimacy challenges, and managing stress, I can guide individuals and families through parenting education, attachment disruption (adoption- foster care -blended families, etc.), and co-existing with developmental conditions like ADHD and ASD. I am also knowledgeable about immigration and acculturation challenges and the experience of marginalized populations.
I offer Individual and Family therapy as well as parenting coaching. Most recently, I have added in-person Walk-And-Talk sessions for those who find sitting and engaging in face-to-face talk therapy challenging.
I am a native of Chile, I obtained my Masters in Counseling Psychology at Temple University in 2007 and I am bicultural and bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish. I have advanced training in Systemic Trauma Therapy at the IFIV institute in Spain, and I have completed Level 2 Internal Family Systems (IFS ) training by the IFS Institute, which is a non-pathologizing, evident based, effective, and the most respectful approach I have come across in all these years of clinical practice; "All parts are welcome", is IFS motto (althogh not all behaviors are)
