My Philosophy

My goal is that you won't need a therapist forever, that you will learn to relate to your own hurt, stuck, and unloved parts in a healing way that will ease your pain and bring you closer to your true-self and the people around you.

I utilize Internal Family Systems (IFS/Parts Work) together with my extensive knowledge of attachment theory and trauma-informed practices to help you find relief from Anxious, Depressed, Controlling, Raging, Impulsive/Compulsive, Hypervigilant, Critical, Ashamed, and Self-Shaming among many other (insert your own here) parts.

The Practice

To me, integrating Mind, Body, Emotions and Spirit in the service of healing is what therapy is all about; separate these parts and we suffer, integrate them and we become whole again.

I have more than 15 years of experience at the service of people of all ages, identities, and walks of life. I have served families of children as young as 4 years old and helped teens navigate the intense but beautiful years of growing into themselves. I also work with adults who are seeking change and feel stuck because of polarizing forces within themselves.

I use humor, insight, breath and bodywork, deep empathy, and nonjudgmental inquiry to help you explore your own struggling/conflicting parts from a place of self-compassion, courage, and curiosity.

My Approach

“The Wound Is The Place Where The Light Enters.”
